I received few comments from my fellow bloggers relating the social bookmarking in blogger posts. Though, I have discussed how to install this in my previous post, there are few more doubts and clarifications regarding this hack. More over, my previous post just displayed links of all the social bookmarking sites and never included any buttons or icons in them. As we know social bookmarks improve traffic to our blog, it is necessary that you make it more attractive and big. Therefore, I thought why not post about this issue in my blog.
Enough of my story and your stories. Let's get our job done now!!! Follow these simple steps to display beautiful social bookmarking sites below every blogger posts.
1. Login to your dashboard. Navigate to "Layout>>Edit HTML" from your dashboard. Make a back up of your template before you do any changes in the template.
2. Now, expand your template, that is, make sure that you have a tick mark in that "Expand Widget Template". Now, do a search using "CTRL+F" for the following line:
<div class="post-footer-line post-footer-line-1">
3. Download any one of the following text documents, that is, download the first text file for installing large icons below your blog posts. If you want small icons below your blog posts, then download the second file.
4. Open the text document. Paste the code that you see in the text document just below the line in step 2.
5. Preview your template to check for errors in HTML code. Thats all folks!!! If you find any error, let me know via comments. Else, Save your template and enjoy those cool icons below every blog post you do.

Thanks for the tip. I tried with the small social bookmarking button on 1 of my blogs and it works. I've been trying to find out how to do this for some time.

REPLY@tuktukbkk: Thanks! You can add any site for that matter. If you had installed larger icons on your blog, then it will be pretty ugly to see 2 rows of social bookmarking icons. So, it is better you limit to one. If you installed the smaller one, for sure, you can add many more!!
REPLYYou must be a web developer or something... I tried doing this on my own but reading this rang a bell on me that regular HTML codes like "" & etc. are not acceptable to XHTML they must be converted to " & for XHTML to accept it. Thumbs up to you man

@dezhing: It will get displayed in post only.. Do you want it for one particular post alone? If so insert the HTML in that particular post alone!!

How can I make it like your blog, so that readers only see the icons AFTER they click read more and access to actual blog post?

@Jakeblogger: Pretty good question!! I just provide links because those codes will extend above the width of the post area and people will not be able to copy them properly. That is the only reason I provide text links.
REPLYMore over, I am currently replacing all the megaupload links to google sites because it takes time to download in megaupload whereas it is not the case in google sites.

REPLY@Miriam: The buttons will not be aligned to the right. They display one after the other. This might be due to break statements or your template treats the end of tag as the end of statement. Send me your template. I will have a look at it!!!
