It's been long since I had made a post here. I hope I post more frequently than before from now. Anyway, this post does not contain any referral link to TextLinkAds and I am not here to promote them either. Meaning to say, don't think it is a sponsored post. I just express my views about them in this post. In case you want to show TextLinkAds that Everything About Blogging sent you, then please use the 125 x 125 banner ad in the sidebar.
It has been few months since TextLinkAds accepted bloggers(sites hosted through blogger.com) in them. I never gave them a try simply because I earned quite good with LinkWorth and did not mix up various ad units in my site. In the month of February, I lost the advertiser through LinkWorth. I waited for some other opportunity through them but never found one. So, I thought "Why not try out TextLinkAds??? " And I signed up with them.To be very frank, I got an advertiser requesting me to put his ad on the second day of joining. That shows how big the advertiser database is.Let me straight away highlight the advantages and disadvantages. Let us go about the advantages first. Initially, TextLinkAds did not accept sites that are hosted at blogger but now, they have started accepting them. So, that is an advantage. Next, they got a very huge database and once you are accepted, it is guaranteed that you will make money with them. Thirdly, you will not have any confusions about the Publisher Control Panel. They are very simple and user friendly. The next advantage would be that, they support various modes of payment and as always, it is pretty comfortable for us to choose PayPal. Lastly, a very fast and efficient support center that will answer your queries within 24 hours.
Now, the disadvtages go this way. They accept sites that have pretty huge amounts of traffic and not the beginners. This reduces the morale of the blossoming bloggers. Secondly, they do not support other multiple advertisment agencies. For example, if you are publisher and you serve ads for LinkWorth and you want to do the same with TextLinkAds, it is not possible. Thirdly, the commision they take is quite high(50%) when compared to LinkWorth(only 30%). Overall, it is a good site to try out to add a litle more penny to your PayPal accounts (Conditons Apply: Your blog should posses a pretty decent traffic :) ).

REPLYNow, I have to do more for my blog ;)
hello anna i am using blogger and i want to know how to get adsence ads i submitted the form and it was rejected stating cannot be verified plz help me
REPLYand one more-my blog does not get displayed in google search
@adithya: The best method to get your Adsense approved is to avail a custom domain and later submit it to Google for acceptance. I hope you understand what I say. Regarding your display in Google Search, submit your site to Google Webmaster Tools. Keep posting articles on a regular basis. One fine day, you will see them on Google Search.
REPLYHello Mukund.
REPLYThanks for this review. I probably won't be accepted but I just applied for an account with TLA.
You've got an empty space for ads other than TLA. Since you mentioned TLA does not allow multiple ads, is it OK for me to do that too?
Thanks for your help in navigating my way around Blogging.
@Pundit Commentator: No harm in giving them a try buddy! You did the right job! Thanks for your comments!!!
REPLY@Mukund
REPLYThey turned me down as a publisher but created a custom proposal as an advertiser. I need your advice. What is the right time in a blog's life to advertise?
Plus, I'm confused. Some of the websites they suggest for me to advertise on have very very bad Alexa ranks, like much much worse than me. How could they accept them and not me?
@Pundit Commentator: As far as the text links are concerned, not only textlinkads, even other sites will except a page-rank from your blog and only then they will advertise. They don't the Alexa rank. All that they want is, a back-link from your site. It is something like selling your PR.
REPLYOther advertising networks look into the potential of a blog. For example, BSA will look into the potential of blog before they accept you in to their publisher database. I hope you understood. Catch me on gtalk and I will help you out!
Sorry, I could not make any sense of your first paragraph. Could you please rephrase? Also, did you mean "accept" instead of "except"?
REPLYTLA's custom proposal for me made mention of the Alexa Traffic Rank of the potential publishers, not their Google Page Rank. And to my surprise almost all the sites had very bad traffic, much worse than me.
So again, if those sites were accepted by TLA as publishers, why not a site with a much higher traffic rank? The reason for rejection given to me was traffic.
FYI - My current Alexa is in the six hundred thousands zone while the list had sites with rank of 2-3 millions.
@Pundit Commentator: There are certain guidelines which each and every site would have. In fact, even I had these doubts earlier when I started blogging and it frustrated me as well! Don't worry, you carry on your blogging, the rest will follow you!
REPLYI try to use TextLinkAds for my website but they refuse my request saying that your website have Page Rank less than 4.
REPLY@Mohsin Ali Waheed: The article was published long back! They have revised the terms now I guess! I suggest you not to sell your PR.
REPLYi thing your article is very great information for me,
