After my previous posts of Chrome users now can remove Facebook timeline Part 2, I planned of posting this other post on the fact to remove FB timeline from your account. Just need to follow some other of the below steps later on this may also help you disable the timeline that which you use in your facebook account. But please note this only works for the Google chrome users. So please download the Google Chrome browser if you don't have any.What you have to do is just follow these easy steps and you may succeed at this time:
i Right click on the chrome.exe and click properties
ii. Make sure you are in the ‘Shortcut’ Tab.
iii. Paste the following code in the Target window
CODE – For Windows Vista & Windows 7 Users.
–user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)
CODE – For Windows XP Users.
–user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)
Note: Leave space between
“C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe”<SPACE>–user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)”
iv. Download this .bat file
v. After you have downloaded the .bat file, make sure you close *all*open Chrome windows, then click it and it will run Chrome with “IE7″ as its “user agent”.
vi. Open your facebook and refresh your profile page(Ctrl+F5).Thats it now you will get your old profile back with some errors like extra spaces,formatting etc.To remove those errors install this addon for firefox.
