Hi guys I know technorati is a best directory where a blog can be listed and can easily get free traffic from them and the PR is 7 and alexa rank is around 1363 when I wrote this post.But the thing is all blogger try to get a easy button to add the blog in their directory but never finds (in technorati),
but with this post you can get complete details to know how to add the blogs or get listed in Technorati.
Follow these step by step details and succeed in linking with Technorati and get cool decent traffic.
STEPS
i. First of all go to Technorati and sign up if you don't have any and if you do have then sign in.
ii. Now click on the username of yours right before the profile picture at top right
iii. Scroll down and under My claimed Blogs type the URL of your blog and click claim
iv. Fill the details of your blog
* Blog Title
* Blog URL
* Blog Feed URL
* Description of your blog
* Backlinks to your blog (check backlinks at alexa.com)
* Tags
* Categories (at least 3)
Click 'Proceed'
v. You should see the below message once clicked proceed.
vi. After some time check your account to know whether "Check Claim" to your site is enabled, once you get that enabled click on Check claim button.
vi. Once you have done with it, in the next page you will see a code, where some instructions along with it be given.
You have to copy the code and create a post with some title and has to add the code given just to be verified that you are the owner/author of the site. They verify it not by seeing directly at the blog but through your Feed URL by subscribing to it, and checking them can make your site be claimed. My code which I received was HWWRKHMJYAVU
vii. After you create a post and you get a feed newsletter to your email if subscribed, else subscribe before you do write the post, then publish and once you get the newsletter click the button 'Verify Claim Token'. You will get the following:
viii. After some time check the status of the claim, once approved by them you have to get the following
"We have successfully crawled your blog and found the claim token, and your claim is now awaiting final review. You may now remove the claim token from your feed."
Follow these steps and only then you will get listed.
If You have had mistakenly submitted to verify the claim without adding the code to any posts then you would get the following:
"This is an automatically-generated email.
* Blog Title
* Blog URL
* Blog Feed URL
* Description of your blog
* Backlinks to your blog (check backlinks at alexa.com)
* Tags
* Categories (at least 3)
Click 'Proceed'

What to do now?
There is a solution for this problem.
Well the only thing you have to do is get the correct Feed URL of your site and submit it to them after you publish the post at your blog with the Token code.
You can get the Feed URL here in blogger blog (new interface):
Dashboard > Settings > Other > Site feed > Post Feed Redirect URL
For Old Interface in blogger:
Dashboard > Settings > Site Feed
> Post Feed Redirect URL
Copy and submit to them.
