How To Make Your Blogger Blog Dofollow?

dofollow-nofollow-linksI am very happy to declare that my blog is a dofollow. I have listed my blog under the list of dofollow blogs on "followlist.com". I assumed that my blog was a dofollow but, I found this morning that, it was not the case. When I went through the source code of my template searching for nofollow tag, I found one stating nofollow. When I checked the code, it happened to be on the comments section. I'm pretty sure, I lost many comments just because of this small mistake.

So, I made this post specifically to ensure that my blog readers should not commit the same mistake which I made. To check whether your blog or say any blog you wish to comment, is a dofollow blog or not, just follow this step. Open your blog or the blog you want to verify for dofollow, go to the comments section of the blog. Just mark a few lines of comments in it and right click on your mouse. Now, select view selection source code. If you find a tag with word rel='nofollow', then it means that the blog is nofollow blog or else it is a dofollow blog. The following figure illustrates this step for better understanding.I have been using the words dofollow and nofollow quite a many times in this post. There is no use in reading this post, if you don't know what it is or what it does. Basically, a dofollow tag indicates that when you comment on a blog with a link to your post, the robots will consider that particular link of yours as a backlink and will point to your site. In other words, when you check for the sites linking to your site, you will find the blog on which you commented. This is what drives more people to comment on your blog and it effectively helps to improve the PR of your blog. To know more about PR and improving it, you may read the following posts:
1. Increase the PageRank of your Blog - First Series.
2. Increase the PageRank of your Blog - Second Series. (Highly Recommended)
If it is a nofollow blog, then the links you post will simply remain as links and just drive traffic to your blog but not backlinks. This would be the simplest definition of dofollow and nofollow as far as I know.

Now, we have understood what a dofollow blog is and how it generates more comments and backlinks for our blog. So, how do I make my blog a dofollow one??? Very Simple!!! Just follow the following steps.
1. Navigate to Design->Edit HTML from your blogger dashboard. Now, click on the Expand Widget Templates and search for the following piece of code.
<b:if cond='data:comment.authorUrl'>
<data:comment.author/>
<b:else/>
2. Delete the code marked in green text and save your template. That's it!! Your blog is ready to be listed under dofollow blogs.

Below is the list of few sites which are dofollow blogs. You can comment on them and start generating backlinks for your site right away!!! If your blog is also a dofollow blog and if you wish to add your site to the following list, then please leave a comment and I will update the list.

How To Speed Up Your Blogger/Blogspot Blog?

Speed+Up+Your+Blogger+BlogBasically, the speed with which your blog loads is inversely proportional to the time it takes to load. I have explained this post in terms of reducing the load time. I found an article which mentioned that even the site/blog load time contributes significantly to the Google PR. So, how do I find out whether my site load time is quick or slow. If you need an answer to this question, then visit the following link "Website Optimization Speed Report" and enter your URL.

Scroll to the end of the report page and you will notice various sections say TOTAL_HTML, TOTAL_OBJECT and so on. Each section will be highlighted either in red or green or yellow. So, what do they indicate. The report will clearly explain the color and its significance. How ever, I would like to briefly say that, it indicates the areas where you need to concentrate so as to improve the speed of loading your website. Red indicates immediate attention while yellow indicates moderate attention and green signifies an optimal performance.

I suggest you to read each and every line of that report before you proceed with this post. The report will clearly specify what scripts or images can be compressed and how much bytes could be saved by doing so. Once you have analyzed the above report, it is time to take few steps to reduce the load time. Although, there are various methods through which the load time can be reduced, I restrict myself to the most effective methods in this post. Now, let's move on to the methods!!!

1. SIMPLY THE CSS SECTION:
This method involves the compression of the CSS section of your blogger template. To do this, just visit the following link "Free Web Based CSS Compressor" and paste the CSS part of your blogger template. Once you paste the code, hit the compress button and you will find the reduced version of the CSS code. Now, replace this code instead of the CSS part of your template and save it. Ensure that, there is no problem after replacing the code by having a preview of your blog.

(Note: Before trying this step, please make a back up of your template. More over, the CSS part of your template is the code which lies between the <b:skin> and </b:skin>code.)
2. POSTS ON HOMEPAGE: The earlier versions of blogger/blogspot blogs did not include the "Read More" hack and people displayed the entire post on the blogs. How ever, this trend has reduced in the new version of blogger to some extent. Still, there are blogs where in , the home page includes so many number of posts that it becomes completely annoying for the visitor who visits the blog. Apart from losing a visitor, you lose the impressions and the bounce rate of your blog also increases. (To know more about Bounce Rate, visit the following link "How To Reduce The Bounce Rate Of Your Blog?"). So, reduce the number of posts on your home page. To do so, navigate to Settings->Formatting from dashboard and enter 4 or 5 for your blog with the "Read More" hack installed in your blog.

3. IMAGES OF YOUR BLOG:
The images displayed in your blog play a very vital role in your site load time. The images when hosted at different sites say "Imageshack, Photobucket, etc.." contribute a significant load time. This is due to the diversity of your images, that is, your images have to be fetched from different servers. To avoid this, you may use a single server to host your images. Say use only Photobucket to host all your images. Thereby, you fetch multiple images from only one server and it reduces the load time drastically. Moreover, you may compress the images which you host, thereby the images will load faster than what it did, before compression.

4. AVOID SCRIPTS:
The scripts that are included in your blog template also plays a vital role in the loading time of your website. Try to remove the scripts which you feel are unwanted. Apart from the scripts, remove the widgets which are unnecessary from your blog too. So, how do I decide a widget is important or not? Just ask the following questions to your self and you will have a conclusion. Firstly, Does the widget offer some value to your readers? Secondly, Does the widget match with your template, that is, provides an overall professional look? And lastly, Do you receive complains from your blog readers about the widget(say it disturbs them from reading the post)??? If you end up answering "No" to the first two questions or "Yes" to the last question, then I recommend you to remove that widget now!!

To be very frank, I know that my very own blog say, "
Everything About Blogging | Free Premium Blogger Templates" is not a perfect example for an optimal blog load time. I am currently working on this area to reduce the load time of my own blog. As I find out more effective methods, this post will have another series. However, please feel free to share your ideas of reducing the blog load time too via comments.

How To Reduce Your Blog's Bounce Rate?

slowing-bounce-ratesThis post basically explains the following questions: What are Analytics?? What is a bounce rate?? How vital it is?? How to reduce the bounce rate of your blog?? Once you build a website or a blog, your primary aim is to increase the traffic to it, in other words, you try to attract as many people as possible. This could be achieved by the adding your posts to various social bookmarking sites, participating in forums and so on.

Do you think, it is enough if we just increase the traffic to our blog??? Definitely not!!! You need to analyze the traffic or statistics(analytics) of your blog. So, What are Analytics? To keep it very simple, it is a tool to measure your site's performance. It displays various data regarding your blog and bounce rate is one such data. Most of the newbies install Google Analytics on their blogs but they do not know, how to interpret these data. I restrict myself to explain only about "Bounce Rate" in this post.

So, What is a Bounce Rate? Wikipedia defines it as, "Bounce rate is a term used in web site traffic analysis. It essentially represents the percentage of initial visitors to a site who “bounce” away to a different site, rather than continue on to other pages within the same site." I feel the statement is pretty self-explanatory.

To keep it very simple, bounce rate simply represents those percentage of visitors who move away to some other site after visiting a page on your website. You may find the percentage for "Bounce Rate" on the right corner below the graph once you log in to your Google Analytics Account. Higher the bounce rate, more the number of people leave your blog after a single web page visit. As per the definition, an ideal percentage of bounce rate would be zero. Practically speaking, a bounce rate below 60% is good for any blog. So, our only task is to make him/her stay in our blog or in other words, just get the second click out of the visitor. Though, it appears to be very easy, it is one such area that even probloggers constantly work upon.. I am pretty sure few ideas would have cropped if you clearly understood the post till this. You may implement your ideas but, do consider the following methods in reducing the bounce rate.

1. Clean Template: The first impression is always the best impression and you can gain that best impression only when your blog looks clean and tidy. It is not necessary that it should look very professional but, it should be clean. I mean the widgets should be placed properly, broken links should be updated and so on.

2. Quality Content And Keywords: Content is always the king!! So, it is very important that your blog provides quality content. Please, ensure that the keywords are relevant to the content of your blog. It is important that both the keywords and content go hand in hand or else you end up providing the wrong information to the search engines. By doing this, you lose the second click from the visitor.

3. Internal Links: This serves to be the most effective way of reducing a blog's bounce rate. When you provide links which are relevant to the content, within your blog, it is obvious that the user makes a click on it and thereby, he keeps hopping around your blog. In fact, you end up boosting your page views and back links too.

4. Related Posts: The last factor which I would suggest to reduce the bounce rate would be the related posts widget. I recommended every blogger to add this widget at the end of every post. It will have a tremendous effect in reducing your bounce rate and increase the page views of your site. Click here to learn more about this widget(for blogger blogs): Add Related Posts To Blogger Blogs.

As far as I know, the above four methods will definitely reduce the bounce rate. To be very frank, even I am currently working on reducing the same for my site. I So, I appreciate any ideas from your side as well. Leave them as comments below this post and I assure you that I will include them in my next series of post.

Add An Animated Notice Box To Blogger

Today, I would like to present you an interesting widget, "The Animated Notice Box". This widget will add a notice box such that it flashes for certain number of times say three times and then, will stay static on the web page until the user wishes to close it. It is something like an alert message which you would have seen in many websites. But, this kind of alert message can be used to increase the subscribers for your blog. If you still haven't got an idea about what I am explaining here, then just look at the screen shot below.
animated-notice-boxI hope you got an idea about the widget now. If not just visit this blog "My Test Blog" to view the demo of this widget. I will initially explain you how to install this widget in your blog with a general message as shown in the screen shot above. Later, I will provide you the code which I installed in "My Test Blog" that displays a message to the visitor asking him/her to subscribe to the blog. Let us get to our work now.

1. Go to "Design->Edit HTML. Make a backup of your template before modifying the HTML by clicking on the "Download full template" link at the top of the page.
2. Search for the following line in your template. Use "CTRL+F" to fasten your search.
</b:skin>
3.Add the following piece of code just below the line mentioned in step 2.

4. Save your template. Next, you need to add the "div" section of the code any where in between the body tags of your template. The simplest way to add this code is to use the "HTML/Javascript" plug-in in blogger.
5. To do so, just navigate as follows: Design->Page Elements. Now, click on "Add a Gadget" and select "HTML/Javascript". Paste the following piece of code and hit the Save button. Leave the title section of the widget empty.

This Is Your Message .You can change it to Your need. Click on close button on right to exit this box

6. You may drag the widget any where you want. Once you finalize the place, click on save again and view your blog with the "Animated Notice Box" installed.

As I said earlier, you may download this text document "CODE I USED", which consists of the code I used in "My Test Blog"(Demo which you viewed). You may use the code in document for your blogs too. But, please do change the links and the title of your blog in the code (self-explanatory). Else, you will help me increase my subscribers count by displaying the box in your template:)

How to increase backlinks to my blog???

Recently, I received a mail from one of my friends. It stated that "Hi friend, tell me few methods that will increase the backlinks to my blog". It is quite obvious that many bloggers want a solution for this question. Though I'm not an expert, I will share few tips regarding this issue. There are few questions which always run in the minds of a newbie when they hear to terms like backlinks, SEO, RSS, bla bla bla... Even, I used to wonder what the heck, these probloggers are trying to explain in their post. Initially, I felt like am heading nowhere when I read their posts. But later, I understood each phrase has got its own value and meaning. Anyway, I don't want to make things very complex as they do. I will try to keep it as simple as possible.
backlinksLet us first understand, what are backlinks??? To be very simple, you may refer the Wikipedia definition which states "Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page". I prefer saying backlinks are quality links from various sites which link to your site. I stress on quality links because there is no use if you receive a backlink from a PR0(Page Rank) blog. To check the backlinks for your site, visit Google and type the following text in the search bar.
link:http://www.yourblogname.blogspot.com/
(Note: Replace the green text in the above link with your blog/website URL)

The above step will only give you a quantitative analysis of the backlinks, that is, gives you the number of backlinks for your site. I always feel that there should be equal proportions when it comes to quantity and quality. I mean to say, you need to have a reasonable number of backlinks from quality websites. Now, you will be wondering what do I mean my quality websites? It is very simple. The quality of a blog can be determined by its Google PR. People have different views about the above mentioned statement. I accept partially to it, though I feel there are lots of other factors which determine the quality of a blog. It is acceptable to receive links from site with PR3 and above.

Now, you know what are backlinks, how to find the number of backlinks to your blog and to determine the quality of each backlink. In this post, I will provide you with two simple tips that will increase the backlinks to your blog quantitatively.

1. Spread the word through templates/widgets:
This is the most effective way of increasing the backlinks to your blog. It is basically meant for webmaster and works out well, especially for blogger blogs. Just by including a small piece of HTML code in the credit section of each template, one can build his backlinks enormously. Have a look at the screen shot below for a better idea.
link-to-meEvery time, when the template is downloaded from your site and used, it will increase the backlinks without the knowledge of the user(75%effective). Make sure, it appears at the credits section of your template. Do not irritate the user with multiple links since there is no effect in doing so. For widgets, apply the same concept of including a link, but make sure it appears as small as possible. You may add the following piece of code at the end of each widgets you spread through your blog.

Add to your blog

(Note:Replace the text in green with the URL of your blog)

2. Comment On Sites With Top Commentators Widgets:
This method seems to be the most simplest method that one may adopt to increase his/her backlinks. The important feature to observe while commenting is that, you need to know if your link is categorized under the "dofollow" or "nofollow" tag. Make sure you comment on blogs with "dofollow" blogs. Most of the blogs and websites have adopted the concept of dofollow. Even if the blog is a "nofollow" blog, the widget will preferably provide dofollow links only.

If it is a nofollow blog, then the link will be not be counted for backlinks. It will just serve as a link to increase the visitors to your site. Nevertheless, it serves for some purpose. So, I recommend every one to comment on other blogs. (Note: Please make sure that you comment relevant to the topic and do not spam the other site. I prefer to comment on blogs which are related to my domain.)

I have restricted myself to just two simple techniques of increasing the backlinks in this post. I will post few more methods of improving the same in my next series on the same topic. If you truly feel that my blog is worth reading and is helpful, then please link to my blog too. Just copy and paste the following piece of code anywhere in your blog!!!

You may leave your views about this post along with a link to your blog in the comments section below. Another method to increase your backlinks:)

How to increase the page rank of my blog?

Few days before, I had a chat with my fellow blogger and he asked me, "How to increase the page rank of my blog?" I knew this question will definitely be running in your mind and every other young bloggers. Is it possible to increase my PR?? The answer to the question is "Yes, it is possible to increase the PR through routine work and updates, but cannot have an overnight increase." Now, what do I mean by routine work and updates? The answer lies in this post. Have a glance and you will understand.
about-google-pagerankBasically, page rank of your site depends upon your site's back links. When a blog or website with higher page rank than yours link to your site, I am sure in the next PR update you will find an increase in your page rank. Thus, it is very important to get your site linked to sites that possess higher page rank than your site. Some of the other techniques that you need to adopt for increasing your page rank are discussed below.

1. PROPER SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION:
The initial step to increase your blog page rank would be to set your blog as per the search engines want. I have already discussed about this in detail in my previous blogger posts. Check out the post by clicking on the link here : How to improve your Google PageRank?

2. PROPER BLOG COMMENTING:
This method is most effective and you play a significant role in it. You have to comment on blogs that allow "Do Follow". If you comment on "No Follow" blogs, it serves for no use. It is important to comment on blogs that have higher page rank. I recommend Comment Kahuna, which I started using few days before and it pretty easy to comment and find blogs related to our niche.

3.DIRECTORY SUBMISSION:
The next effective method of improving your page rank is to submit your blog to all the directories that are available. Never invest any amount in submissions, that is, do not pay for any services. I recommend you to personally submit your site to all the free directories that are available. Get the free list of web directories here : Free Directory List.

4.MAKE INTERNAL LINKS:
This is one of the most simple techniques that one can adopt to increase his/her page rank. Just provide a link from one post to another. You may check this post, for example, I linked my previous post about page rank in the first point. This will definitely increase your page rank. More over, it increases the page views for your site.

I hope these tips help you increase your page rank. If you got some other tip, feel free to leave your comments.

Solving/Fixing "Another blog is hosted at this address" Error

I recently shifted my blog, Everything About Blogging, from the default blogspot domain to a custom domain (www.newbloggingtipz.com). I had a lot of confusion whether to shift my blog to WP or just buy a domain & stick to blogger. I consulted my friend & he simply said, "Be it blogger or wordpress, if you have good content, you can reach great heights". So, I chose to stick with blogger but preferred a custom domain. UPDATE : New article can related to this topic can be found here - SOLUTION

Fine. Let's get to our work. After all the initial setup with CNAME and A records, when you try to enter the URL through blogger for your custom domain, that is, when you transfer your blogspot domain to custom domain, you will encounter the error saying "Another blog is hosted at this address". I know how annoying it is to see that kind of an error. Don't panic. It is very simple to solve this problem. Just few minutes of work and your error is fixed!!

Follow these simple steps.
1. Login to your Google Apps account.
2. From the dashboard, hover to Service Settings and then select Sites under the menu.
3. Choose the tab Web address mapping instead of General as shown below.web-mapping-google-apps4. Now, you will be able to see www address in that list. Select and Delete it. Just proceed with the warnings and confirmations.
5. Once you finish this, move on to your blogger dashboard. Navigate to SettingsPublishingSwitch To Custom Domain - Advanced Settings from the dashboard. Now, enter your custom domain URL with "www" before the domain name. (Eg: www.newbloggingtipz.com)
6. Now, save your settings and the error is fixed. Still if you face problems, then use this form called "Magical Custom Domain Form" and let the blogger help forum fix it.

Increase FeedBurner Subscribers To Your Blog

feedburner-logoOne of the ways to show your blog potential is by displaying the number of FeedBurner Subscribers. The most important thing to be noted regarding the Subscriber's count is that, they are real people with real thoughts and should never be associated with numbers. I had a Google search, for the past one week, related to this topic and I found out that, there is a hack for doing the same using a Netvibes accounts and an OPML file.

It is quite unrealistic to get 2500 subscribers overnight. Moreover, there is no use in doing the same. No real person is reading your blog to generate valuable comments or to increase your traffic. You just show people a couple of thousand readers more than what is in now. So, I advice you not to indulge in any such activities because, one day or the other ,"The Big G"(Google) will find a lock and your key will never fit the lock anymore. Some of the valuable tips that every new blogger can adopt to increase their FeedBurner Subscribers are listed below.

1. Placement Of Your Feed - This is the most important key to increase the subscriber's count. Anything you want to promote in your blog should be placed at the top, that is, above all the widgets. You should have noticed this in my blog provided you followed my blog on a regular basis. Initially, I had the Email subscription option at the bottom of my page(had 14 readers). I shifted it to the top, 2 weeks before and at present, the number of subscribers are 18. I think the results prove why it is so important to place your feeds above all folds.

2. Feeds Below Every Post - It is always intelligent to place a email subscription or your RSS feed below every blog post because, every person who visits your blog is not a blogger . They are just people who landed on your page searching for some information. Thus, it is important to tell in what way, your blog will benefit the user who came from a search engine. You may visit this page for implementation of feeds below every blog post.

3. Post About RSS - This method is self explanatory. Basically, this method tells you to spread "What is RSS" and educate your readers about RSS. Most of the blogs do not have high RSS subscriber's count, simply because many of them don't understand what RSS is all about. So, you may publish post explaining what RSS is and how it will be useful for the reader to stay up-to-date with your blog. Finally, place a RSS link below that post and I am very sure, you will definitely see the difference.

4. Promote Your Blog Feeds - You may promote your RSS feeds by placing them in various forums, email signatures, discussions, etc... You may also place your RSS feeds along with the home page URL when you comment on posts in other sites. This method will serve to be very useful provided you comment on blogs related to your niche. Also, you may solve some problems for your fellow bloggers and later ask them personally to subscribe your blog. Not as a gratitude, but as a token of appreciation in solving their problem.

5. Include A Bonus For Your Subscribers - Last but not the least. A free bonus for Subscribing to your blog. It is very tricky to do this in a blogger or blog spot blog. But, I recommend every one to place some useful Ebook below your subscription form. This will definitely increase the subscriber's count. You have to personally send the Ebook, you mentioned in your blog, through mail to the subscriber, once you know his/her email address via FeedBurner Email Subscription Service.

I have mentioned a few effective methods to improve your subscribers. Am sure there are lots more effective ways in achieving this, so feel free to leave your opinions here via comments. See you in my next post!!!

5 Methods To Increase Your Alexa Rank

Alexa is a website that provides traffic details about various websites. Alexa rank is based on the amount of users who visit a particular website with the Alexa tool bar installed. It might look silly, if you look at the definition provided by Alexa site but how ever, it has become an important factor for advertisers and web masters in evaluating a website. For example, Text Link Ads and Sponsored Reviews are few websites that determine the quality of a blog with Alexa Rank.
alexa-rank-stats1.Quality Content- I feel this is the key to success for your blog. I don't mean to say you should write posts that are very rich in content. I simply want to convey that be genuine in what you write. Don't copy, paste a content from some other site.

2.Alexa Toolbar- Get the Alexa Toolbar, install it on your computer. Later, set your blog or site as the home page. Adopt this method to as many computers as possible. I mean on your office computers, friend's PC and so on.

3.Spread Your Article- Once your write a post about topics that interests your friend, then make sure you spread that post through forums, twitter, digg, and through other social networking sites. Moreover, make sure you submitted your site to all the search engines. If not, click here.

4.Alexa Sparky- This method is quite simple and similar to the method two. Install Alexa sparky (A Firefox add on) on your computer. Every time you visit your own blog, information about your blog is quickly sent to Alexa including the hits to your site which, in turn, will vastly improve your rank with Alexa.

5.Alexa Widgets- Install the Alexa Rank widget(Get this widget) on every web page of your blog. I found through a website that each click on "Alexa Rank" widget installed web page counts as a visit even if the visitor does not use the Alexa tool bar.

I am very sure that the above methods will make your rank better in Alexa simply because they worked well for me and I am not an expertise by any means. There might be several other methods that worked well for your site, please do share them here.

Improve Traffic To Your Blog With Social Communities

We already know many social networking sites such orkut, facebook,etc.. I recently joined one real time social networking site - Twitter. The best part of this site is that it is a real-time social networking which projects what you do to all the people around the world. It can even be attending the call of nature. Jokes apart, so how will this site improve the traffic to your blog???
Twitter is simply service that connects friends and families around the world and this site is basically built on one motto - "What Are You Doing?" This post basically tells how you can use this concept of "What you are doing" to improve traffic to your blog. You have a feature called TwitterFeed that will automatically update the new posts through the RSS feed of your blog. So, this will improve your site. You can also tweet what you are currently doing, say, updating your blog or changing a template, etc.. and you can leave a link of your blog while tweeting. This will improve the traffic to your blog.

Thus, basically you can tweet what ever you want, related to your blog ,with a link pointing to your site. You can also show off the amount of followers, just like the subscriber's count that will enhance and make other bloggers feel your site is worth reading and who knows, they may even join your site!!! You can show this count by including a small piece of HTML code - TwitterCounter.

One more service that will improve your blog traffic consistently is BlogCatalog. I recommend everyone to join this site to experience the best traffic to your site. Even here your new blog posts are automatically updated. More over, you can create groups and increase your traffic. You may take part in discussions, post broadcasts and lots more there. It will take another post to explain all features about BlogCatalog. This site also provides a lot widgets. The best one among them would be the recent visitors one. You can have a look at it at the right sidebar of my blog.

The best method that you can adopt to increase traffic with BlogCatalog is, create a group saying Visit my blog and I will visit yours or provide free reviews about various sites and ask people to visit your site in return. It is up to the individual to create an idea to drive more traffic. You may visit my group to see how many members have joined - Get Comments For Your Blog. I hope all new bloggers give a try to these 2 sites and improve their traffic.

Improve Traffic To Your Blog

It is very important as a new blogger that you gain good readership and commentators. It is only possible if you display your blogs to others. As always, one easy method that you can adopt to increase your traffic is to use sites like EasyHits4U(Review about this site), TrafficSwarm, etc.. The most important thing that you need to do in order to increase the traffic to your blog is to submit your blog/site to various Search Engines.

I found the below site that will submit your site to various search engines. However, I suggest you to index your blog individually with Google. You may visit Google WebMaster Tools for indexing your blog with Google. Though, Google automatically recognizes your blog and keywords if your content is unique, it is still better to index your blog separately with Google. I will soon let you know how to index your blog with Google in my later posts.

Submit Your Site To The Web's Top 50 Search Engines for Free!

This is really a tricky question and to be frank, you can not stop people who are intended to copy the content from your blog. But still there is one way to block copying of HTML content. Say, you struggled to figure out a HTML that is unique(Eg. A FeedBurner Email Subscription Form) and then, you made it right after long hours in front of your PC. The next day, you find that widget in another blog. It will really irritate you a lot.

The best way to stop people copying images is to disable the right-click option in your blogger page. You can do this simply by following these simple steps:
1. Go to "Layout->Edit HTML" from your dashboard. Always, you should make a backup of your template before modifying the HTML by clicking on the "Download full template" link at the top of the page first.
2. Search for the following code in your template.

3.Replace the above code with the following code.

4. Save your template and then you may verify the "Right Click" option by yourself. It will be disabled.
